.htaccess problem AND posts not appearing after moving servers

I just switched hosting and am having a couple of problems.

1. My url is:
https://vps5049.inmotionhosting.com/~freenc5/freenclearstuff.com/
If you click any of the posts or any of the pages, you get a 404 page – and it’s not the theme’s 404 page. I have backed up and re-imported the database, all the core files for the site (with ftp). When I look in the dashboard – the complete content for all the posts are there – so I am not sure what is going on here. What did I miss?

2. In my dashboard, I am getting the error warning:
To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to /wp-content/backup-db – that is exactly where my .htaccess file is – and it’s not located in the other folder at all – so I am not sure why I am getting this message to move it.
