    Hi,

i′ve been implementing wysija some month ago and tested all the given functionalitys. What should i say? They worked fine.

Now, a couple of month later, i just had the launch of my product driven by an external newsletter. I didn′t know the necessity to check all functionalitys of all plugins after every update… Now, i do know…

Submitting the registration form causes an htaccess-login-form, such as known when logging into the backend of WP. My htaccess-file is stored in the wp-admin-folder, wysija is installed in the wp-content-folder?!?!?!

What is that and how could it be resolved?

    Cheers
    Michael

  • When you submit a MailPoet Subscription Form on your website, you are sending that information via AJAX to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php, that’s why your Subscription Form is showing that prompt. Look for it, there’s a way to disable the need for credentials for some specific files inside your wp-admin folder.

I’m having the same issue. How can I disable it. Sorry I’m not that experienced.

    Cheers
    Christoph
