.htaccess is not writable

It’s time to try WP Fastest Cache. I have been using WP Super Cache for over a year, but I need to try this software! You got good reviews and it convinced me to install WP Fastest Cache.
Got a Problem!!!
When I tried saving the selected settings of the plugin, I am prompted with the red X and informed me that “.htaccess is not writable”. What should I do?
