.htaccess file may need to be moved in wp super cache settings
-
I am recieving this message at the top of my wp super cache settings page.
.htaccess file may need to be moved
It appears you have WordPress installed in a sub directory as described here. Unfortunately WordPress writes to the .htaccess in the install directory, not where your site is served from.
When you update the rewrite rules in this plugin you will have to copy the file to where your site is hosted. This will be fixed in the future. On my server I seem to have 3 htaccess files – one inside the folder titled the same as my domain, one inside the html folder, and one inside the wp folder.
Can you please tell me which folders I need the htaccess file that includes all the rewrite rules?
Thanks in advance.
