i changed permissions but still not working.

Did you try editing your .htaccess via your FTP?

Does it allow you to edit?

No , it doesn’t allow me to edit. when i clicked on edit it is showin this message

unless you are not able to edit the file via FTP, it won’t get edited when you change permalink from WP Admin.

If you are not sure about file permission, you can approach the hosting provider for this.
