.htaccess disappears every few minutes

  • Hello,

    Last night my web site was perfectly fine and running. Today, when i try to open my website, homepage succesfully opened. But i couldnt open any other pages. When i checked my FTP i noticed that .htaccess file is missing. I put it back and pages fixed. Then it got disappeared again. Everytime i put my .htaccess file back. It disappears in a few mins.

    Anybody got any idea?

    -tried with default .htaccess and it disappears too.
    -currently chmod 644

  • Is it the content that is disappearing or the whole file? Have you tried disabling your plugins? Maybe one of them is effecting it

    only .htaccess file is disappearing. and because of that, i can’t reach my content on the website. only home page is showing. i am trying the plugins now.
