    Hello,
I have defined german as a standard language on my website defined and the URL ist https://www.wordup.de. When I search in google, I get this URL: https://www.wordup.de/de/.
This is corresponding to hreflang settings (link hreflang=”de-de” href=”https://www.wordup.de/de/” rel=”alternate” />), but I do not want the /de/ for the standard language in google search results. I have also activated the function to supress the language suffix for the standard language, but it is not working. what is wrong?
For google search in english it works perfect, result is: https://www.wordup.de/en/ and english content, just how it should be.
