    Hi all,

For SEO reasons, I’ve heard about a code tag called Hreflang.

It is not in the code of my website.

My site is entirely in a minoritarian language, Catalan.

Should I include this tag to let Google know that my website is in Catalan?

In that case, how and where?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Núria

  • hreflang is only relevant for multilingual websites. It can be used to indicate that a single page is also available in another language. Your website is, as far as I can see, monolingual. Therefore you do not need this information.

What is relevant for your case is already in the html element itself: the indication that the language used in your page is “ca”. This is already optimal.
