Hourly leave counting as full days?

  • Trying to see if this will work for my needs. The hourly leave taken in 15 minute increments is not working – it just counts as a full day of leave. I think I set everything up that is needed for it to work – specify full work days for Mon-Thurs, half day on Friday; set company hours to 8 (really would like this to be able to use 7.5). When creating a leave request I get the option to take hourly.

    The New Leave Request notification email just lists the day(s) and not the hours selected. I don’t see a shortcode to specify hours requested.

    Am I missing something in the setup or does the hourly leave portion not work?

    The leave hour option will appear only when you select single day for leave.

    I understand that it only shows up for a single day. My issue is if I have 5 days of leave set (40 hours) and I select a 1 hour leave, I’m now left have 4 days of leave instead of 4 days and 7 hours (39 hours). What I see is that hourly leave isn’t hourly, it’s just counting as a full day.

    Is that just the way it works or is something now set up right?
