• Hi!

I love this theme, thank you for making it available. Right now this theme creates a circle on the index site whenever you add a new post, is there any way to be able to do the same with pages? I’d like to use this layout for a couple of permanent pages, and hide my blogposts in one page (probably /blog).

So is there any way to get the same look by adding pages instead of posts?

    Thank you so much.

    P.s., my website is https://www.mariskavanbrederode.nl

Not easily — you’d need to do a fair bit of coding to make it work with pages, modifying The Loop’s main query, possibly with WP_Query and the pre_get_posts filter. But that’s a bit above my comfort level, so I can’t tell you exactly how to do it, only that I’m sure it’s possible with some research and legwork.

Thank you for your reply! Since I’m no coding expert, I think I’m just gonna tweak the index page manually and run WordPress from my /blog directory. I hope you don’t mind me doing that, I won’t touch the credit in the footer :).

P.s. I’ve had a look at your website, love your artwork!

It’s open source, have at it. And thanks!

    Hello,

i have almost the same problem. I would like to include a blog in one of the posts (circle) or to the pages.

How can I resolve it? Any ideea?:)

I want a single post homepage with a nav bar at the top. In the the nav bar, I want to have a menu option for my blog, and this is where I want my posts to go. I believe this is what everyone here is talking about, and I am very excited because I think I have found a solution to this problem.

To achieve what I am talking about, I made one simple adjustment. From the wordpress dashboard click Appearance > Themes > Customize > Static Front Page. Set your posts to go to whatever page you would like, and your homepage to whatever page you would like. Now your homepage will not contain the circle posts, and your “blog” page will!

Hubterrama, yes, that is what we want, but the solution you found does not work for me, the new blog entry goes to 1 circle, as before. And I have to have the circles, they are some main themes. ?? Any other solution?
