Howto stop ”crawlers” getting mail-id from WP -User-list?

    Hi
    I made a mail-id into my mailbox just for testing Membership-2 function on my site.
    I added a member to my site with that mail-id.
    Nothing of that user, nor mail-ID could be found in my site, if you look with a normal browser.
    A couple of days later I got spam to this mail-id.
    Is it possible to hide users mail-id inside WP.
    The mail-ID is only in WP-User list and Membership2 All user-list
