  • Go to the Edit Post screen. At the bottom of right hand side column you should see a box with featured image. If it is not then enable it from Screen Options

In that box is a link for “Remove Featured Image” – click on it

And there is no link with Remove featured Image only with: Set featured image

But I already disabled the plugin maybe thats why, so still my question is how do I undo the plugin actions?

Your plugin did changed 400 post and placed thumbnails on all of the pages, but I want to remove this all at ones? I am starting to think I need to restore an old back-up to get my site back in the state it was before I installed your plugin?

    Please advise!

I did some more reasearch and there seems no easy way back when installed, I asked it to two other plugin builders and both there advise was putt back a back-up …

You have to understand what a plugin does before using it.

    This post might help:

Apparantly the Generate Post Thumbnails plugin has an option to remove all featured images. I think that will just un-assign them to your posts though, if you want to physically delete the images from your server you may need to do this manually via FTP.

The PRO version now has ability to remove featured images

@tariquesani you should add it to free version as well because you do not know how it will look on all themes. I tried it and don’t like huge thumbnails with mostly vertical images. So want to delete what your plugin generated using other plugin.

Please reconsider adding to remove thumbnails to free version. Because it will be really useful if it cleans up after itself.

    Regaards

There is already a plugin which does that – please use that
