Howto place Mainsite to www.domain.com?

I have a fresh Multisite installation at https://www.domain.com/wordpress/ and I’m looking for advice, how to place it at https://www.domain.com? Also, so that other subsites would reside https://www.domain.com/subsite/
Is this possible and if, how to do it?
