Hello, I’m new at this so, I’d like to apologize in advance for pestering you with my questions.

Well, I got my site up, and even wrote an article, but how do I eliminate
all the selections on the right side of the screen. Especially ‘Meta’, whatever that is. It semmes anyone can get to my dashboard from there.
Or, it may be my computer can ’cause I’m logged in. Not sure.
Still, I’d like to eliminate some of these choices. And I see others have.

    Thanks

Go to Appearance/Widgets in you admin panel. More than likely, you’ll see them listed in the sidebar to the right and you can easily drag them out. If they aren’t there, then they’re default widgets. Just add any widget to the sidebar (even a bank text widget) and they’ll disappear.

If you have a very old theme that’s not widget compatible, you may have to manually edit the Sidebar template at Appearance/Editor to remove them.

The “Log in” link provides access to the login page, but you’ll need a username and password to get past it, unless you’re already logged in.
