How2 Remove backslash at URL end ?

  • This might not be a WordPress problem. And, I apologize if it is a basic issue. However, I cannot find a solution, and I am not even sure if I understand the problem or the terminology. But, here is that I need fixing:

    a)

      Bad: What I am getting, but do NOT want

    :
    https://gourmettalk.com/blog/index.php/

    b)

      Good:What I would like to have instead

    :
    https://gourmettalk.com/blog/index.php

    The first URL gives me pages that do not included related adsense; the second URL is fine.

    Please help me define the problem; and an answer would be great also.
