How Would I Place Ads Here…

  • I have a blog, https://laatedaa.com and someone recently contacted me about placing ads on the site. He wanted to place a 120 x 600 vertical banner on the left side of the blog, but I don’t think there’s an easy way to just place it there. How would I be able to add the advertisement in there to satisfy both of our needs?

    Would it be easier to get a leaderboard (728 x 90) on top of the forum, below the navibar?

    Maybe there is an advertisement management plugin that can help me here.

  • Your sidebar is wide enough (200 pixels) to accommodate such a vertical banner but, if your menu list gets much longer, I’m not sure you’ll have the vertical space needed.

    Would it be easier to get a leaderboard (728 x 90) on top of the forum, below the navibar?

    Not without editing your SMF theme. And that’s a lot harder than editing a WordPress theme. Trust me on this!

    Maybe there is an advertisement management plugin that can help me here.

    Not one that can place such a large ad in such a potentially limited space.
