How will the plugins update if I rewrite URLs

    Hey.

    Your plugin is pretty awesome.

    However, if I start using it to secure my website and rewrite every single plugin and theme path, will the themes / plugins still work?

    How about updates? Won’t WP consider those themes to be new altogether since I changed the path? Will the plugins and themes appeared as not installed anymore?

    How about auto updates, won’t the plugin update feature have difficulties into knowing where to put files?

    It does not work that way, there is no actual (physical) directory/sub-directory changes on the server, everything is mapped through rewrite rules and html dataset parsed on the fly.
    So, absolutely nothing will break on your side.

    Thanks so much for the info! I will consider doing this.

    After changing the name of my child theme builtwidth was still able to detect theme so I want this changed.
