When I installed WordPress using softaculous, I installed it as https://buzzie.info, the screen on my freelancer’s computer shows a complete header while the screen on my computer is missing some tabs, like the REGISTER tab, etc. In other words, our screens do not match, no matter how many changes we try. So I decided to change the installation details on softaculous from https://buzzie.info to https://www.buzzie.info, but now there is the problem of finding how to add Categories. And I still can’t see the full header, and my freelancer is not available for me to ask. I have excluded the homepage from WPSuperCache, but it makes no difference

    Any ideas, suggestions?

Also, does it make a difference to the forum whether my site is

    https://buzzie.info/
    https://www.buzzie.info/

PLEASE HELP, I need it badly. Thank you.

    Hi @manoman,
    You have other issues too.

Let’s first fix the base forum URL. Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > genera Tab, and change the Forum Base URL to community, then go to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click on the [Delete All Caches] button.

Then please exclude wpForo home page from your “WP-Super-Cache, Dynamic Super Cache” plugin. Please read the instruction: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/

Currently, I don’t see the main issue, please describe it with some screenshots.

Well, I let my fiverr freelancer – prolinkz – try to fix whatever was wrong, but now, my freelancer is not available due to religious fasting, and I can’t even see the dashboard anymore, and when I try to login I get a password not valid or something similar. I want to my softaculous installation in my cpanel and can’t find a way to login from that either. I truly have no idea what my freelancer did. So please tell me how to access the dashboard, I truly do not know what is happening. Thanks so much.

    Hi @manoman,
The login issue has no any relation to wpForo. So there is no any solution from wpForo side. If you have a problem with password, just reset it using the “Lost your password?” link on login form.

I have finally solved all previous problems.

In the meantime, just 2 questions re hierarchy

    1. what happens if I do NOT click on the Save Hierarchy tab? I did not want to try it since I did not know what the result would be

    2. Is it not possible to change the Forum ID of the categories to make the hierarchy look the way the admins want their hierarchy to look? I seem to recall using a mega menu plugin where all one had to do was to number each category and if you wanted to move one category above another category, you would simply change the number. For example, if one category is numbered 76, and your current category is 94, and you want category 96 to be above category 76, you would simply change the 96 to 75 and all other categories would also change accordingly. Can that not be done with wpforo? Of course this would also apply to Topics if so desired.

    Dear Support,

I thought my freelancer had made all the necessary changes, but apparently not, so I decided to try to do them myself, but when trying to change the base URL to https://www.buzzie.info/community/ or even to https://buzzie.info/community/ I am now getting the following error message

    ***********************************************************************

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator at [email protected] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    ******************************************************************

so a simple problem seems to have become a serious problem, and I get the same error message no matter what I do or try, PLEASE HELP ME as soon as you can.

Thank you so much for your time and patience with me.
