• Hello,
I am using a simple theme called thad_green. I login into my site admin. I click on Footer underneath the Appearance.

The default html code in Footer dialog box reads as:
    Contact Us | Privacy Statement

I want to add proper contac-us and privacy statement pages. So I created privacy statement page. I enter the following as the html code in Footer dialog box:

    Contact Us | Privacy Statement

The menu at the bottom of my page works just fine. However privacy-statement menu also appears at the top of my wordpress webpage just where the existing top menu is. There used to be two menu items side by side. One was Home, and the other one was Contact Us. Now that I edited the Footer dialog box to:

    Contact Us | Privacy Statement

I get an extra third menu at the top of the page just beside the About Us.

I like to keep the privacy statement menu (link) only at the bottom of the page. I don’t want privacy statement menu appear at the top menu.

I am wondering if there is a way to assign different functionality to top and bottom menus?

As you can see I am a beginner, and I hope someone can shine a light on this topic.
