• Hello there,

Thank you for this nice plugin.
I need to reorder my products showing on each category but I did found any option for it. Could you please let me know how we can rearrange already added products showing in each category.

    Thank you!

    Hey ab,

You can re-order products within a category manually by going to the Categories tab in the plugin admin, selecting a category, and then using drag & drop in the table there to place the products in the order that you want and. Don’t forget to click on “Save Changes” when you’re done.

    Hello Jay,
Thanks a lot for your response.
As I am checking products are not draggable. Please see the attached screenshot.

Oh, you didn’t specify that you meant in a sub-category. There is no way to order those elements. There is no front-end output for a sub-category, so no need to order them.

So there is no way to rearrange the products?
For example I have 3 products tagged in a sub-category and showing in the following order in frontend.
Current product display: Tshirt , Shoe, Jacket
I want to show it in this way: Shoe, Jacket, Tshirt
    Can we do that?

Since those 3 products share the same parent category, you can arrange the products within the category however you want by following the instructions provided previously:

You can re-order products within a category manually by going to the Categories tab in the plugin admin, selecting a category, and then using drag & drop in the table there to place the products in the order that you want and. Don’t forget to click on “Save Changes” when you’re done.

Sub-categories respect the product order of their respective parent category.

    Alright! Thank you very much!!

Hi. I have this same question. I have been able to reorder products on the main product page using this method in the past, but I can’t find the option after a recent update. Can you tell me how to do this currently?

    Hi zander,

The products were switched to a post type and it looks like the drag and drop re-ordering functionality wasn’t carried over to/implemented on the taxonomy edit screen. We’ll have a look at re-implementing that. Thanks for asking!

Any idea when this will be fixed? This is one of the main reasons I use the plugin.

I also can no longer reorder the category list in the left sidebar on the main product catalog page (at least that I can find). Can this still be achieved?

Can someone please let me know when this functionality will be re-implemented? It has been almost two months, and I still can’t perform what used to be the simple task of dragging and dropping products in their correct order on the store page. I am a premium user… is there an update for premium users that fixes this?

    Hello zander,

You can reorder the categories in your sidebar by going to the categories tab of the plugin, then drag and drop your categories in the order that you want.

You can reorder products, within a category, by going to the categories tab of the plugin, then select the count value, then drag and drop your products in the order that you want.

From there, the changes should immediately take effect on the front end. If nothing has changed, it could be that you’re viewing an older version of your webpage and that you might need to delete your cache.
