  • Hi,

    So there’s a few ways here. Firstly there’s doesn’t seem to be any text on the actual post so none is showing up on the blog page. Please add text to the post so I can see how much is being restricted (if any) in the blog page.

    I’ll then give you the best solution once this is done.

    Thanks,

    How can I write more on this template, so that visitors can se much more tekst without having to press “Read more ” ????

    Sometime themes can be modified via CSS but it sounds like they’re using the_excerpt() (maybe) to display that post text.

    As that’s a commercial theme (and we do not support those here as we want GPL’ed theme providers to be wildly successful and do not want to interfere with their business model) have you considered contacting them directly?

    You can try to modify the theme’s PHP files but we don’t have access to that code (nor want access to tell the truth). You really should contact the theme developer for support as that’s part of what you paid them for.

    Hi Jan

    No I havent contactet them directly perhaps I will try that, but it irritates me me I cant remove the read more funktion, and just see all the text and grafic ??

    ok, as Jan said we don’t support premium themes that are not under the GPL license.

    As a fix I’d suggest you go through the following process:

    1. Download a program like notepad++
    2. Download the the theme folder to your desktop.
    3. Do a search on the_excerpt();
    4. Replace any instances of the_excerpt(); with the_content();
    5. Then upload the edited theme back to your network.

    But take an original copy of your theme in case something goes wrong and you need to revert to a backup!

    Best of luck.

    It may be something easy: if you were using a theme from the WordPress repository here then I’m sure one of us would reply “just modify this file” like so…

    Contact the developer, you’ve nothing to lose by doing so. ??
