How to wrap code within the pre tag ?

  • Hello,

    When clicking the code button here, it is automatically wrapped within
    pre tags.

    At my blog things a little different, when I use the HTML editor, the code button won’t add pre tags.

    How can I “force” the HTML editor to add pre tags when clicking the code button ?
