How to wp_dequeue_style font awesome icons?

in you’re child themes functions.php you would do a

<?php wp_dequeue_script( $handle ); ?>

the handle would be the name used to enqueue the script in the functions.php file of the theme.

Done. But request is still being made. You can check out for yourself.

I have tried purging cache both on cloudflare and w3 total cache which means the http requests still exist. I have just replaced the font awesome files with blank ones with the same file names and file extensions. So only around 0 bytes is being served and downloaded but the http requests take time. Thank you for your time and effort, actually can’t thank enough. ??
