    Hi,

I have installed it but I have iThemes Security plugin with Custom URL Login enabled. When I click on the login link I have a 404 error.

What can I do to get the plugin working. Thanks!

    Hi,

Ok. Please go to WordPress > Users > Temporary Logins and copy the link again and check once again.

It should work as it’s working on our development setup.

    Hi,

I have done it and it takes me to the home because I have put /HomePage in the redirect url settings on iThemes Security. (I think that this is the reason).

I have the same issue using the latest version of the plugin. My login url is set to /wplogin, which is the url that iThemes security suggests for the hide login feature.

Sorry but I didn’t get you.

Did custom login url works with latest version of Temporary Login Without Password plugin?

@malayladu I have the latest version of this plugin and iThemes Security. This plugin doesn’t work with iTheme Security’s hide backend/login feature.

@depiction Are you getting any error?

Did the temporary login link redirect you somewhere?

    There are two problems:

    1. The iThemes Security plugin’s hide backend feature defaults to “/wplogin” for the login url instead of “/wp-admin”. (It can be different than “/wplogin”, but I’m using the default.) The Temporary Login Without Password plugin doesn’t recognize that, so the login urls provided by it are wrong.

    2. When I manually replace “/wp-admin” with “/wplogin” in the urls provided by this plugin and navigate to them, I’m directed to the main login screen with the username pre-populated and an empty password field. There are no errors on the page or in the dev tools console.

@depiction What did you put in the redirect url settings on iThemes Security.
