How to warn the user for user name or password setting details

Hi, support,
So many users are complaining that they are failing to register with Username or password set. The problem is that they don’t know the username can be an alphabet or only character or with a number or what. Even if for password set also the same problem. So if they are not able to enter the password as per the standard. Even if I also don’t know how it works. Please help me on how to put these warning messages to the front end users. Even if how I can set all these.
Actually what is happening is that if they are not following the proper username it is failing for registration, and even if they are also not able to know that for what reason it is failing.
If this feature is not available please add this feature or else please let me know how I can set this for the front end user so that they can select the help and get to know details to set all these.
