Hello, My client has informed me that after an event has passed, that they are no longer able to find it within the admin. Is this a feature of the plugin, to automatically remove past events from the events CPT?

If not, how can the past events be viewed? I can not find it within the Events CPT or it’s trash.

    Thanks!

  • In the admin page there is a filter applied to show only future events.
You need to change that in the listing, after “Grouped action”, select it to “all events” then apply the filter.

    Hope this was clear.

Thanks. I just checked, and no events show up under Past Events.

However, another odd thing I noticed is that when “All Events” are selected, no events come up either. Only when “Future Events” are selected, do posts display in the backend.

It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

Found it. It’s the Yoast plugin? Once I disabled Yoast SEO, all events showed up.

However, I also tried changing themes, and the posts did show up with Yoast enabled.

Is there anything specific you recommend looking for within our theme to fix this issue?

It could pretty much be anything, best thing would be to use the developer console to check for errors and go from there.
