How to verify that plugin is working

  • I really like the simplicity of your WP Fast Cache plugin.
    I installed it on one of my WP websites and copied the .htaccess code into the .htaccess file for the WP website.
    (I have multiple websites, including my WP website, that are in sub-folders of my main website, which is at the top root of my hosting folders.)
    I then cached several pages, logged of, and logged back on.
    I did not see a speed difference between “before and after” caching the pages.
    I also deleted the cached pages from my browser (Firefox).
    Is there a way to verify if the plugin is working and creating HTML pages for caching?
    My hosting is by GoDaddy on a Linux server.

    You should see a wp_fast_cache folder inside you wp-content directory with all the cached pages.

    Alternatively make sure you are logged out of wordpress. Open chrome inspect the network calls. If your first call is under 100ms then it’s working, if it’s over 100ms it’s pry not working.
