how to using thumbs from gallery

  • hi there
    i try to create a template from screech and i wounder how to get the images from the gallery.

    basically i planing to create a strip of images with carousel an light box. so i want the strip to be, lets say 980px, and the others images will be hidden / showing only with hover on next-prev… and on click it will popup a jquery lightbox.

    my main Q is how to modify the gallery
    i use the:
    <?php echo do_shortcode('[gallery columns="1" itemtag="div" icontag="span" captiontag="p" link="file" ]'); ?>
    but cant get it work as a horizontal strip!
