how to use wpadverts custom fields

    I’m desperately trying to add some custom fields, for mt adverts which then can form part of my search. I’ve read the documentation here: https://wpadverts.com/documentation/custom-fields-paid-addon/ I understand the principle but can’t get it to work. Is there a step bystep guide or a demo video somewhere of someone adding a custom field to the add_advert and then making it searchable?

    Hi,
    i am afraid the page you linked to is the only documentation available for the Custom Fields extension.

    I am not sure what kind of problem are you having with the Custom Fields plugin, can you send me some additional details?

    I am able to add custom fields so when some one ads an advert it includes additional information. I am unable to work out how to create a search form that allows me to use the additional fields I’ve added as part of my search.

    You will need to:
    1. from wp-admin / Classifieds / Custom Fields / Add New create a search form scheme, add there some search fields and configure how they should be searched.

    2. from wp-admin / Pages panel edit a page with [adverts_list] shortcode and change it to something like this

    
[adverts_list form_scheme="my-scheme"]

    where my-scheme is actual name of the form you created in #1.
