How to use with current categories/posts?

hi, sorry im not a techie and I can’t figure out how to use the nested pages and add in my current, published categories/ posts already? I have 40+ posts and 3 categories and I want to organize those, along with some new, pending posts that I have. can you pls help, would greatly appreciate it, thanks!
