How to Use when using Facebook Plugin as well?

    Hi,

    I want to use this plugin for my WP blog but I already have a Facebook Plugin that I only use for comments – since I already have a bunch of comments that are valuable to the site I can’t turn it off and I’m kind of stuck with it even if it doesn’t work for a number of things. It already uses an App ID… I don’t use this Facebook plugin for anything else except the comments box.

    So here is the warning message:
    SSO Warning :
    Plugin conflict detected – Please deactivate the Facebook plugin to prevent duplicate Open Graph meta tags in your webpage headers.

    Is there any way to use your Plugin while leaving the Comments intact?

    The Facebook plugin adds it’s own meta tags, which cannot be disabled. You cannot use the Facebook plugin with WPSSO.

    Yes, it’s unfortunate. It also means you cannot use any plugin that generates Open Graph meta tags, since most of those meta tags with conflict with the ones from the Facebook plugin. :/
