can you try the page again. I’ve put the player in it via shortcode with the add media link and loaded the file via external url into the media library previously. the player loads fine but will not load the file from vimeo. although the https streaming link there works using it directly outside of the player.

It should work. You need to use Premium though.

thanks, i see that now. on the site that HLS is only listed as supported on the premium version or up. although the wordpress plugin page says it supports it but does not mention the need to use the premium version for that functionality ??
