How to Use This to Get API from External Websites

Hi! I’m not a coder, so please be nice, but what I’m looking for is a plugin, or someone to make me a plugin, where I can use the data I obtain from an external, non-wordpress website and incorporate into my WP site. For example, I want to get data from the FDA’s Open API, is it possible to alter this plugin to do that? https://open.fda.gov/api/

I haven’t been able to find any plugins that allow you to use other API’s, other than those for social media, and import that data for posts/pages on my WP site. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
