How to use this search bar to my themes?

At this time our IDX search widget in our plugin is not compatible with that theme’s search form. The only way I can think of to make it work with an outside search form is to do custom programming.

You could see if there is a way to replace their search form with our IDX Search widget in that section. Here is our documentation page for the IDX Search widget…

If you want to list all listings, I recommend the IDX Listing Summary widget. Select settings that will keep it wide open so all listings display…

I am trying to create it by myself since I have a little knowledge on PHP, do you know the list of those forms?

i mean those

min-max price, # of bedrooms, # of bathrooms, property type, property status.

what I mean is not those shortcode, I mean those

<?php echo ‘<input type=”text” name=”bedroom” />’; ?>

cause I will just rechange that button to work. Sorry I will just experiment here, just need your help on basics

jeraldpunx, I don’t know what those are. Perhaps you can print out the IDX search widget on a page and view the source code. I’m not sure if that will help you or not.

I already done the search, only miss is that popup ^_^… im excited on this experiment lol…

btw it get detect by name ex. StreetAddress, Area or etc

jeraldpunx, I believe it uses an Ajax request and pulls the info from somewhere. (I’m not a programmer so I don’t know enough to explain)

You’d probably have to look through the code to find it. I can only offer support on the interface of the plugin not the code. Sorry.

I’ve already done all except the address search,

I changed the form link and the input fields base on the name of this plugin, I’m stuck on the address cause there is many name to pass (Ex. Area, MapOverlay, StreetAdress)

hoping the developer can see this and help me… this is the last to fully work the site…
