How to use the shortcode only.

    Hi, how to use the shortcode, it doesn’t seem to display.

    I don’t want the snippet loading elsewhere on the page (In the header, or footer).

    So it is set to inactive.

    Just want to put the shortcode in the sidebar.

    So it only loads on certain post categories.

    Am I missing something here? thanks.

    @aaronbarnett as you have set Status to inactive the code snippet will not appear on your site where ever you have placed the shortcode. You have to set Status to active in order for the code to be inserted.
    Did you want to place HFCM shortcode in the sidebar of specific categories (ONLY) and you do not want to inject the code inside the header, footer, or other option that is available in the plugin? If so at the moment HFCM plugin supports inserting your code snippets via shortcode placement in any place where shortcodes can be placed. As shortcodes is like a html block & it will render wherever you put it. But we do not have the feature to place shortcode only in sidebar of specific categories from the plugin itself.
    It is possible to insert your code into the entire site sidebar by placing HFCM shortcode into your Appearance -> Widgets ->Sidebar(Place shortcode)
