How to use the same wordpress gallery on multiple pages?

Hi – I have found only really old threads on this topic – wondering if it has ever been solved.

I would really like to be able to use the same gallery (basic wordpress gallery) on multiple pages without having to re-upload all of the images again (and with different names) on each page. Right now it seems that they are only assigned to the gallery on the page if they are uploaded directly to that page (not if you pull from the media library).

Are there any fixes for this? thank you
