I am using the plugin: New (BuddyPress) Message. I was hoping this plugin will help me send messages to my blog users. Its a blog with membersite feature. But i dont know how to send mesage as the admin to individual users, so that each user will have a unique message from others. I have added the shortcode but no place to congigure setttings or to even send message. Help! please..!

Hi, that’s not what this plugin is for. This plugin displays a notification when you get a new message in the BuddyPress messaging system, it cannot send messages on its own, for that you need the BuddyPress plugin (or some other messaging plugin). Note that the full name of this plugin is “You Have a New (BuddyPress) Message”, not “New (BuddyPress) Message”.

Wonderful. Its awesome. So how can i use the buddypress message system. I want a message system where only admin can send message to users. I dont want users to send message to other users. I just want to pass message to my users individually and privately.

BuddyPress is a social networking plugin for WordPress that includes a messaging component. It’s clearly not what you’re looking for. I don’t know whether there is a plugin that fulfills your needs, I usually just send emails for individual and private communication. Perhaps that would work?

Thanks for support. God bless. I have fixed it. I used a plugin call cubepm. It allowed me to send messages to users privately. Thanks again.
