• Hi EkoJR,

I can’t seem to wrap my head around the offset parameter. How do I apply it to my lists in order to get them to start with the second newest post?

    Thanks in advance!

Uh oh…looks like you may have found a bug that I caused.

It could just be a simple fix, and I might be able to squeeze it into v0.4. I just have to make sure I didn’t accidentally omit it with the database too.

    Thank you for reporting this.

Then again…it is possible it got omitted until pagination takes effect.

OK, I’ll try to find a work-around. Thanks for your swift reply ??

The fix will be located in the APL_Query file. However, I’m doing production tests on v0.4, so it’s probably just be a matter of time. Unfortunately, I’m also working on a few other projects too :/

Yeah, it’s totally understandable – no pressure ?? Do you think v0.4 will be relased within the next couple of weeks?

I’ve been diving into the plugin again. I noticed there may have never been an offset, and I was probably thinking of the shortcode.

I’ll see what I can do to add it to the next version. Since it does seem very useful. I don’t have an eta yet, but I do upload the changes I made to GitHub.

That sounds great, thanks. And you don’t have to stress about this – I’ve found a solid work-around to use instead.

Well, I may end up adding it anyways, since removing duplicate posts doesn’t do the same for APL Presets executed before it. In which case, an offset would help to skip it.

I ran into the same problem before, but at least the offset (internal) shortcode is already implemented ??

I understand you found a solution with a workaround, and have probably moved on to another project, but I was able to add that Offset option to APL v0.4.

    APL v0.4 Alpha Release

You always seem to have appreciation for this plugin, and even though database modification was kept to a minimal with the conversion, I wanted to make sure I added this to one of v0.4’s new features.

The public release for v0.4 is still being withheld from WP’s repo. However, it should be ready for others to use, and hoping others might be able to confirm its compatibility prior to public release. Ideally, it should be a HUGE improvement with the UI/UX, and follows many of the WP standards. So…that old ugly admin page…gone ??

A good amount of time has been spent multiple times to making sure APL passes the production test this time around. I’m actually more excited to hear the feedback, but also looking for any bugs others might find.
