How to use tags?

If I use this plugin will it override the category tags? of can I run both at the same time? I imagine that the tags in the plug-in should differ from you category names.

Nope. Feel free to look at categories and tags as two completely separate systems (because they are), but services like Technorati will continue to view your categories as tags as well as whatever tags you add with Ultimate Tag Warrior.
