• Hello,

I have created a custom quick view, so I want this [wpclv] shortcode in the quick view popup, so when I click on the quick view button of the product, I want this shortcode in the product ID and it should be displayed properly, so is that possible?

    Thanks.

    Hi @nikulv ,

I am afraid that would be technically impossible.

Since linked variations are in fact the connection of different individual products in your store, though they appear as if they are variations in the same product. When customers click on a term of the attribute to choose the variation, the corresponding single product page will be extracted into the quick view. And the product ID of the chosen item must be dynamic within the Quick View popup for the linked variation.

Unfortunately, the shortcode [wpclv] cannot satisfy that.

    Best regards.

    Hello @janilyn409

But if it runs on the archive shop page, then why not in the quickview popup of the shop page? So you should come up with a solution for this.

I have done the solution and it works. I have used this global $product variable for it and it works.

But I want this shortcut to work anywhere in the entire site. You should come up with a solution for that.

    Thanks.

    Hi @nikulv ,

This is not a designed feature for our plugin. It’s supposed to disable the variation selector within the Quick View popup when linked variation products are previewed. Customers are encouraged to choose the terms for attributes on the single product page only. When more attributes are involved, the selection process will be more complicated.

It works because you have added custom codes on your site and modified our plugin, but again I should emphasize that this feature is not supposed to work for our plugin. If we do any change, it will affect other current users of this plugin.

Our developers determined that we could not help you with this.

    Best regards.

    Hello @janilyn409

I have added only custom code in my function File. I have not made any changes to your plugin file.

    Thanks.
