How to search for feed items from specific feed ID source?

    Hi. We are using ajax search plugin to search all feed items. Works great. But we want to create custom search boxes for each topic page… so for example a search box on business news page would only search for rss feed items from our business news feed source, or specified feed source IDs. For example like [custom_ajax_search wprss_feed_id=”1,3,7″]

  • @wordmax thanks for reaching out to us, I cannot confirm if this is possible with the Ajax search plugin. You will need to check with the plugin’s team for confirmation if it’s possible to fetch the feed items based on the post meta. They will be in a better position to advise on the possibility.

    Thanks, will do. Here is screenshot showing custom post types for wprss that ajax search plugin detects that can be selected for ajax search to search in. Works fine for searching all feed items using wprss_feed_item in this config. The paid version of WPRSS has ability for categories, so am wondering if we use that would ajax search then see a custom post type for search like [wprss_feed_category] see screenshot for clarification. Our goal is to create custom search shortcodes on different pages where ajax search would only search with specified wprss category or wprss feed ID
