    Hi Alex,

I’m sorry to disappoint, but currently the plugin does not support custom post types.

However, I’ll see what I can do for it in future releases. The biggest problem is that I don’t currently have personal experience with this WordPress feature, so I cannot determine what the logic could be like. But it doesn’t seem to be difficult to implement.

I’ll keep you updated in this thread.

It’ll be a good feature if you add support to custom post types!

I find the way out by adding plugin meta boxes to my own post types in file add-meta-tags.php

Indeed this is a useful feature. I read about custom post types and I’ve already scheduled the implementation of this feature for the upcoming releases.

Yeah, one of the reasons custom post types are not supported is the fact that meta boxes are only added for posts/pages. Maybe you could also try if it would work if you just added a description/keywords custom field to your custom post, without making changes to the code.

Anyway, this is going to be fixed, so I am marking this thread as resolved.

    Thank you for your feedback.

It has been fixed. Upcoming version 2.1.3 will support custom post types.
