How to use my HTML forms with Contact 7 form backend

    I have a beautiful contat form coded with html and css on my wordpress php template. I have tried to move the code in the contact 7 form editor, however, when it gets published (and I replace the custom code with the shortcode) it changes the html by automatically adding several <span>s and CSS classes that mess up with everything.

    Do you think it is a good idea to copy just the field names and the form action into my beautiful html and css form straight into the old html markup?

    Or is there a way to tell Contact Form 7: don’t mess up with my beautifully coded form!!?
