    Hello,

I’m using SNAP since a lot but got a problem when is is associated to “Duplicate Post” plugin. This last plugin allow to create new draft of a post. By copying all data associated to the source post.

When I use it, SNAP does not automatically post my new post as it detects that the post has been already posted on social networks (due to snap data already valued). So I need to launch the Social Network publication manually or after reseting, by hand, the SNAP data, it works.

Is there some hook I can use to reset this by code ?

With duplicate post, we have the possibility to avoid the copy of some fields (https://duplicate-post.lopo.it/docs/options/what-to-copy/do-not-copy-these-fields/). What are the fields that we can enter to force a new publication automatically ?

    Thanks for your help

    Christian

  • I have the Duplicate Post plugin and if I duplicate a post I have to click the little green “Reset All Snap Data” in the post before publishing or it won’t publish.

    Hi Christian,

Similar to your case, I just got tired of keep having to manually clicking the “Reset” button and tried to find a smarter and easier way.

Just now figured it out and happy to share it. As you suggested, in the options of “Duplicate Post” plugin there is an option of not copying certain fields as specified. In that option just type *snap*

    and voila ??
