• Hello,
I am ready to hire a few freelancers from Upwork, but if I give them access to FTP and the admin area, I will simply take to big a risk. I need a way to let them work on the website, but let me review all the code they create before I integrate it into the website. I am thinking about a Github-like way to work with it. I have found this: [ redacted site ], But wouldn’t they still be able to get my Database and wp-config password? How would you let someone you do not trust, submit code to your site?

    Thank you!
    Benjamin

This isn’t really a topic for these forums. These are support forums for the code here, not “How do I do something like this” discussion forums.

It’s also not a WordPress issue, this issue exists for all systems. I’m closing this topic and I suggest you ask on another site away from this one. Perhaps Reddit or Advanced WordPress on Facebook.
