How to use flush_rewrite_rules()

    Hi I’m trying to get a custom post type rewrited permalinks to work correctly. I think i need to flush the custom post type’s rewrite_rules but i dont know how i would go about that when using custom post type ui. Would i rather need to copy the code over to the function’s file and then adjust the code there instead, or is there a way of keeping it in custom post type ui?

    I should have spots in the code that run that function or equivalent, but I’ve never fully figured out why it doesn’t always seem to work. That said, if you need to flush your rewrite rules, just visiting the permalinks page and hitting save without editing anything should do the same.
