How to Use Featured Image instead of 1st

Hi,
I know this was asked awhile ago but it’s been closed so asking this again. Anyone know how to set the plugin to use the featured image for a post rather than the 1st image? I’m getting random images coming up including an image used in another plugin so I want to fix this as it looks silly.
