How to use [event_details] function

One of the Shortcodes is [event_details]. The HELP listing shows a number of attributes. Would you provide an example for how I would use this Shortcode? I’ve tried several ways, but nothing is happening. Please give an example of the use of this Shortcode, and explain where I would use it — for example, is it embedded inside another Shortcode, such as inside [events_list]? What sort of output should I see on the web page? Can I use it to change the order of the fields, suppress unwanted ones, etc?
