    hello,

    i have customized my own theme with config.json and style sheet and i can use it in theme widget dropdown. but the thing is i dont want it as a widget i need it on a specific page. is it possible to help me use my theme in shortcode.

    Hi @ralphborgi,

    No, the [wpp] shortcode doesn’t provide support for widget themes. That’s a widget-only feature. At least not at the moment.

    Your options right now are:

    • I’m pretty sure you can use the same settings you have in your config.json file with the [wpp] shortcode (check WP Dashboard > Settings > WordPress Popular Posts > Parameters for more details), then just add the CSS rules from your widget theme to your theme’s stylesheet and that should do the trick (although you may need to make adjustments as theme CSS rules might conflict with your popular posts list’s CSS rules.), or
    • You could use a plugin that transforms WordPress widgets into shortcodes (like Widget Shortcode for example) and see if it works with WPP’s widget (last time I checked Widget Shortcode didn’t work with WPP, not sure if the plugin developer has made changes since then.)
