  • No. As a general rule: you can NOT write posts to “Pages”.
(see the Codex what the Pages are.)

From the plugin’s admin page (located at Options > CQS) you can define how many posts are shown on different “views” = home/main page, archives, category etc.

Or is this plugin the wrong one for me?

Unless you tell us what do you want to do – nobody can tell ??

    hello…

Is there any way to write posts or several texts…I mean in pages I can write one text…are there any possiblity to write several textes..??

Here’s what I want: The most recent post (only) to show up on the index (home, main) page and multiple posts to show up in the Archives (by month). I’m using Hemingway. Right now, with the Reading Options set to (Blog Pages, Show at most, 1 posts) and the Syndication Feeds (show the most recent 10 posts), I get what I want on the main page but I only get one at a time when I click on any month in archives.

I’ve downloaded the Custom Query string plugin, but I’m not sure how to use it.

    Thanks.

When the plugin is activated you should have a CQS link in your admin panel: set the number of posts for each case you need. e.g. 77 for monthly archive; 66 for categories etc.

The CQS link was indeed there, I followed the instructions but I still only get one post at a time when I click on any month in Archives. Suggestions?
